Doverspike Beef sells local, dry aged, all natural, family raised beef by the cut from our family ranch to your family table.
Katherine’s husband Donald is a fifth generation cattle rancher who, along with his family and our three children, work hard to raise premium cattle that result in superior quality beef. I don’t ride a horse or know how to swing a rope, but I do know how to cook delicious beef. Over the last few years, there is an increasing demand for beef consumers to know where their food comes from and to connect with their producer. That demand led me to start Doverspike Beef which gives me an opportunity to supply customers with high quality beef, both locally through Burns Farmers Market and nationwide through my website, www.doverspikebeef.com.
Doverspike Beef has been part of Burns Farmers Market since the beginning. She may not have any specific goals with the market, but I have enjoyed seeing the growth since its inception.
Katherine likes the connections she make with customers and other vendors at the market. People who come to farmers markets are seeking high quality food and a connection with their producers. “It’s an honor to be part of such a great group of vendors.”
